Coming out of the closet.................. with equipment

Didn't really want to share this 'classified' email sent to all my labmates by one of our labmates. But then its genuinely funny. Its that time of the year when we work our ass off to reclean some stuff which gets stashed into our lab-closet over the last millenium....

Have you every wondered at the weight of an early nineties SGI monitor? Everwished you could see dust from 1973? Well then todays is your lucky day. Starting today and working through the Sabbaths, we will be cleaning out thelab closet in room 204 in hopes of completing it by Monday morning. Volunteers and those impressed into service will be exhilarated as they get haul ancient computer equipment to and fro. A select few will even get to experience the majesty of booting antiquated machines to look for old EM code, and that not so PSU fortran version of FDTD. So as soon as I get off my ass today we will be hauling. So, you in the closet...

Dr. Matthew Bray
Director of closet cleaning
