Sorry for the long wait for the EM answer. We received many ‘intelligent’ answers. Ups ‘n Pun you were almost there.. gr8 job.. Thankx to Nilu ‘n Aniket for their invaluable suggestions.
The answer is:
Grad T = 2x ax + 2y ay - az
The mosquito is located at (1,1,2). Hence at this point, the Grad T = (2,2,-1).
The mosquito should move in the direction of 2 ax + 2 ay - az in order to get warm as soon as possible.
